Bridge Action Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Research Supervisors (3) and Field Enumerators (18) to support field-based quantitative and qualitative data collection activities in Chitipa, Mzimba, Ntcheu, Neno, Zomba, Machinga and Mangochi districts. The data collection team will support surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions under ongoing research and programme monitoring assignments. These roles are critical in ensuring high-quality, reliable, and timely data to inform programme learning, evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making. Both positions will work closely with the Bridge Action Field Research Coordinator. Field schedules may require flexible working hours and extensive travel within assigned districts.
Field Enumerators (18)
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Development Studies or Natural Resources-related
- At least 3 years experience in field research, surveys, or data collection
- Good interviewing and communication skills
- Proven experience in supervision and managing field logistics
- Strong knowledge of digital data collection platforms (ODK, Kobo, Commcare, SurveyCTO)
- Experience in data quality assurance and field reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Fluency in English and Chichewa (knowledge of local district languages is an advantage)
Positions are field based in: Chitipa, Mzimba, Ntcheu, Neno, Zomba, Machinga and Mangochi. Extensive travel within assigned districts will be required.
