JOB DETAILS:

OVERVIEW

VisionFund Malawi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Field Officer. We are looking for individuals who are committed to empowering communities through microfinance.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate new clients and promote Savings Group Linkage Loans.
• Conduct loan evaluations and assessments using Open Data Kit (ODK).
• Serve as a Credit Committee member and manage portfolio administration.
• Build strong community rapport and provide high-quality customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Proven experience in Savings Groups or Village Banking.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Facilitation/teaching skills are essential.
• Must be willing to ride a motor-cycle. (Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
