The Malawi Network of AIDS Service Organizations (MANASO) is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join its team as a Finance Assistant (Volunteer).

Role Purpose
As a Finance Assistant, you will support the Finance Department in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and contributing to accurate financial reporting and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Financial Recording
- Maintain financial ledgers and records.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
Bank and Cash Management
- Assist with bank reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation of cash and banking transactions.
Budget Monitoring
- Track expenditures against approved budgets.
- Review budget variances and identify discrepancies.
Financial Reporting
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in compiling financial information for management and stakeholders.
Compliance and Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Support compliance with donor requirements and statutory regulations.
Audit Support
- Organize financial documentation for audits.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and implementing audit recommendations.
