FLEET SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATIONS / PERSONAL PROFILE

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Transport & Logistics Management or any related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and workshop operations
• Knowledge of Malawi road traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ability to use Microsoft Office tools
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily fleet operations, ensuring efficient vehicle allocation and minimal downtime
• Oversee preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs, including submitting requests for spare parts as required
• Receive action plans from the Fleet Manager and monitor their effective implementation within the fleet department
• Manage and monitor driver performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and road safety regulations
• Monitor and control fuel consumption and other fleet-related costs to ensure operational efficiency
