Role Overview

To ensure YCN’s activities are inclusive, promote gender equality, and actively engage youth with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for and mainstream gender equality and social inclusion in all YCN activities.
• Propose initiatives that support the empowerment of girls, young women, and youth with disabilities.
• Help ensure YCN events and communications are accessible.
• Build partnerships with organizations focused on gender and disability rights.
• Sensitize YCN volunteers on inclusion principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong commitment to gender equality, disability inclusion, and human rights.
• Understanding of the challenges faced by women, girls, and persons with disabilities in Malawi.
• Advocacy and sensitivity skills.
• Personal experience or background in related fields is an asset.
