Geography & Business Studies Teacher
Position Summary
The Geography & Business Studies Teacher will deliver practical and engaging instruction that equips learners with geographical knowledge and business skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography and Business Studies.
- Conduct mapwork and educational fieldwork.
- Prepare learners for national examinations.
- Assess student performance and maintain academic records.
- Participate in school programmes and boarding duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education specializing in Geography, Business Studies, Humanities Education or a related field.
- Minimum four (4) years' teaching experience.
- Experience in mapwork, fieldwork and examination preparation.
All applicants must demonstrate:
- High integrity and professionalism.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ICT competence, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a boarding-school environment.
- Willingness to uphold and support the Academy's Islamic ethos, values and mission.
- Flexibility to participate in boarding, co-curricular and other school responsibilities as required.
