Background

Ontario Printers located in Blantrye, Malawi is inviting applications for the following positions: GRAPHIC DESIGNER & MACHINE OPERATOR

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create professional designs for printing, branding, advertising and promotional materials.
• Design artwork for T-shirts, banners, stickers, labels, business cards and other print products.
• Prepare and format artwork for printing using CorelDRAW.
• Operate printing and finishing machines safely and efficiently.
• Check artwork and printed materials for quality and accuracy.
• Make necessary adjustments to designs, colours, sizes and layouts.
• Assist with machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Meet customer requirements and complete jobs within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of creativity, accuracy and print quality.

Requirements:

• Must be highly knowledgeable in CorelDRAW
• Strong graphic design and printing
• Creative, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to sometimes work during odd hours
• Experience in printing and operating machines is an added advantage.
