KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
- A certificate in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Building Maintenance, or a related trade will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance or handyman services.
- Practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and minor electrical repairs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a school or institutional environment will be an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs of school buildings, furniture, and equipment.
- Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and electrical maintenance.
- Inspect school facilities and report major maintenance requirements.
- Maintain school grounds and ensure the premises are clean, safe, and secure.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs of school buildings, furniture, and equipment.
