KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

• Provide effective academic, administrative and professional leadership.
• Lead the development and implementation of the school's academic and strategic plans.
• Supervise, motivate and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, discipline and academic performance.
• Promote Christian values, good character and ethical conduct.
• Ensure compliance with applicable education policies and standards in Malawi.
• Manage school resources responsibly and efficiently.
• Coordinate examinations, assessments and academic programmes.
• Maintain effective relationships with learners, parents, staff and the wider community.
• Work closely with the Board Chairman, Managing Director, Head of Advisory and Governing Council in advancing the school's mission and development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants should:

• Hold a recognised Degree in Education or a relevant education-related field, together with appropriate teaching qualifications.
• Have substantial teaching and school management experience, preferably at secondary-school level.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• Have high standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
• Demonstrate commitment to Christian values and the mission of the school.
• Have good knowledge of the Malawian secondary education system and curriculum.
