JOB DETAILS:
OVERVIEW
Green Hills Academy private secondary school, situated in Mwanza district is looking for suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacant positions.
HEADTEACHER - 1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, direction and management of the school
- Develop and implement school policies, strategic plans and academic programs
- Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff and to ensure high performance of the school
- Maintain discipline among staff and students and promote a positive school culture
- Liaise with parents, Ministry of education and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Teachers council of Malawi and Ministry of Education standards
- Prepare reports and represent the school in official matters
Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education from recognized institution
- Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi
- At least 5 years proven experience serving as Headteacher with excellent performance record
- Strong leadership, decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to learner welfare
- Proficiency in MS office and school management systems
