ABOUT THE ROLE
Chinamwali Private Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified, dedicated and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions:
POSITION 2: HISTORY TEACHER
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Education, majoring in History.
- At least 3 years teaching experience whether part-time or full-time in a recognized secondary school.
- Good understanding of the current Malawi secondary school History syllabus.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Must be dedicated, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teaching History subject and preparing schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Setting, marking and evaluating examinations and assignments.
- Improving learners' academic performance in History.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and supporting learners' holistic development.
- Participating in school co-curricular activities.
