Job Title: Human Resource Officer
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: Ntcheu
Duration: 1-year contract – renewable

Future4All is seeking a Human Officer to play a crucial supporting role within the Human Resources functions. This individual will be responsible for assisting in various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes and the overall well-being of the workforce.
Responsibilities or duties
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counselling on policies and procedures
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes from screening and selection to onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Design and deliver a structured new staff induction program, including content, schedule, and alignment with organisational values.
- Partner with managers to set SMART performance targets, align performance contracts with job descriptions, and conduct quarterly performance reviews.
- Facilitate the Learning, Orientation, and Role Onboarding (LOOP) process to accelerate staff integration and productivity.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Pension Act, and other relevant labour laws and regulations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of Labour laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
Experience needed
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Human Resources officer, administrator or other HR position
