OVERVIEW
Malawi Union Conference is a Christian organization of the Seventh Day Adventist Church seeking to recruit a competent, organized, professional and experienced Human Resource officer to join our team
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Be a loyal, baptized practicing HR member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Must own a degree in Human Resource Management or above
- Full knowledge of Malawi labour laws such as Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Workers Compensation Act and other Acts related to employment
- Knowledge of litigation procedure related to human resource
- Self-starter with handson experience in human resource management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sound knowledge and experience in HRM, legislation, governance, policies and procedures
- HR knowledge of the labour environment in Malawi
- Keep abreast of all legislative and organisational policy changes
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently on HR issues
- Must be fully bilingual and proficient in English and Chichewa
- Be able to create and implement systems for better organization
