The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified candidates to fill the above vacant position in the ICT Division.
Overall Objective
Implementation of planned ICT projects to support attainment of Corporate Strategic Objectives
Main Responsibilities
- Planning, tracking, monitoring and reporting on projects
- Assisting in developing communication plan for allocated projects
- Organizing ICT projects meetings and record the minutes
- Managing project issues to closure in an issue log
- Budgeting for planned ICT Projects
- Loging Project Change requests in the change requests register
- Producing monthly status reports for ICT projects
- Documenting all ICT related projects
- Documenting any changes requested for projects
- Providing users manuals of systems to users
- Managing electronic repository for ICT projects documentation
- Facilitating activities of any system updates
- Facilitating any required user training based on the updates
- Coordinating provision of any suitable training to system users
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Degree in Project Management or any ICT related fields.
- At least two (2) years’ experience in ICT field

- Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective Planning and organizing skills
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to manage time
Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)
Successful candidates before being appointed will undergo an extensive background check of their integrity. Only when the vetting exercise is favourable shall the Authority make the appointment.
