Background
Love a Village is seeking an Intern to support its WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) initiatives. This internship is likely unpaid or stipend-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the WASH team in implementing water, sanitation, and hygiene activities
- Support community training on latrine use, handwashing, and water treatment
- Help monitor WASH facilities and collect field data
- Assist in preparing WASH education materials
- Document lessons learned and success stories
Typical Requirements
- Recent graduate in Public Health, Environmental Health, Water Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of WASH best practices
- Interest in rural community health
- Ability to work in the field with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal and reporting skills
