About the Employer / Role
World Association Friends of Africa (WAFA) is seeking qualified and dedicated Islamic Teachers to join its team in Blantyre. The successful candidates will teach Qur'an and Islamic Studies, promote Islamic values, and help nurture the next generation through quality Islamic education.
Key Requirements
- Qur'an Hafiz/Hafiza.
- Recognized qualification in Islamic Studies (Sheikh/Sheikhah or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of the Qur'an, Sunnah and Islamic teachings.
- Good teaching and communication skills.
- Strong Islamic character and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Qur'an and Islamic Studies to learners.
- Prepare and deliver engaging Islamic lessons.
- Guide students in understanding and practicing Islamic values.
- Assess learners' progress and provide academic support.
- Maintain discipline and uphold professionalism in the learning environment.
Special Requirements
- Male applicants must be Qur'an Huffaz (Hafiz).
- Qualified female Sheikhahs/Hafizas are encouraged to apply.
