POSITION: Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician performs laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests to support patient diagnosis, treatment, and disease monitoring while maintaining quality laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and process patient specimens.
• Perform laboratory tests and analyses.
• Record and report laboratory results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Follow infection prevention and laboratory safety procedures.
• Ensure quality control in laboratory operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Registered with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
• Valid practicing license where applicable.
• Previous laboratory experience is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:
• Laboratory analysis.
• Attention to detail.
• Record management.
• Equipment handling.
• Communication skills.
• Teamwork.

Preferred Location:

Applicants should preferably reside in Airwing or nearby areas, including Chitipi, Njewa, Mtandire, and Msiliza.
