JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Develop and teach new courses
• Supervise research projects
• Participate in scholarly activities
• Serve on University Committees
• Undertake other assigned duties

Qualifications and Requirements

• PhD or Master of Science in Forestry (Forest Biology/Botany/Microbiology bias) plus Bachelor’s degree with credit.
• Expected to teach Forest Biology, Botany, Biochemistry.

Experience

Two (2) years of teaching experience at tertiary level is an added advantage.

• Evidence of scholarly publications (for Senior Lecturer and above)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
