JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities or duties

• Teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Develop and teach new courses
• Supervise research projects
• Participate in scholarly activities
• Serve on University Committees
• Undertake other assigned duties

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• PhD or Master of Science in Forestry, Soil Science, Agronomy or Agroforestry plus Bachelor’s degree (upper second class or credit).
• Bachelor’s degree holders only may be considered for Staff Associate.

Experience needed

Two (2) years of teaching experience at tertiary level is an added advantage.

• Evidence of scholarly publications (for Senior Lecturer and above)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
