Mudzu Foundation Project

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing loan applications and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct initial client interviews and assessments to determine creditworthiness.
  • Support credit appraisals and loan analysis under supervision of senior loan officers.
  • Help verify client information through site visits and reference checks.
  • Assist in preparing loan files, contracts, and disbursement documents.
  • Support loan monitoring activities and follow-up on client repayments.
  • Help maintain accurate loan records and client databases.
  • Assist in preparing loan portfolio reports and tracking delinquent accounts.
  • Provide customer service and respond to client inquiries regarding loan products.
  • Participate in client education on loan terms, conditions, and repayment schedules.
  • Support the credit team in achieving disbursement and collection targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Fresh graduate or with up to 1 year of relevant internship experience in microfinance or banking.
  • Basic understanding of credit principles, lending procedures, and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in the field and interact with diverse clients.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in the banking/finance sector.
  • Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
