Position: LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE

Location: Blantyre

Workforce Recruitment Services seeks to recruit for the following position on behalf of a Client.

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products. The role requires strong coordination, cost control, and the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive deliveries within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation, distribution, and delivery schedules
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and sites
• Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays or disruptions
• Liaise with transporters, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Manage inventory flow, including stock movement, dispatch, and replenishment
• Ensure all logistics documentation (delivery notes, invoices, waybills) is accurate and complete
• Optimize delivery routes and transport utilization to reduce operational costs
• Monitor logistics performance and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare regular logistics and performance reports for management

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time delivery rate
• Reduction in transportation and logistics costs
• Accuracy of dispatch and inventory records
• Turnaround time for deliveries
• Reduction in delivery errors and losses

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations
• Experience in FMCG, agriculture, or high-volume distribution environments is an added advantage
• Strong working knowledge of transport coordination and inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
