CRS is recruiting a MEAL Intern to assist with Country Program (CP) MEAL activities. The MEAL Intern will support the project team in tracking progress against agreed outputs, outcomes, and planned activities, ensuring that monitoring and reporting processes contribute to the effective implementation of projects at CP. The Intern will assist with data collection, data management, reporting, and documentation of project results and lessons learned.
The MEAL Intern will work under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer and will collaborate closely with MEAL Technical Advisor, and Project Managers to support the implementation of projects monitoring and evaluation framework and related data management systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Assisting in the development and updating of data collection tools, including digital data collection tools.
- Supporting the implementation of data collection activities, including baseline studies, routine monitoring, and other project assessments.
- Assisting in conducting Data Quality Assurance (DQA) processes, including verification and validation of field data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Supporting the documentation of lessons learned and best practices from project implementation activities.
- Assisting with preparing reports and presentations on findings.
- Assisting in monitoring programme activities.
- Assisting with reviewing performance indicators.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Statistics, Public Health, Development Studies or related Social sciences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of statistical software packages i.e. Excel, R, Kobo, STATA & SPSS.
- Prior experience is not a requirement but an added advantage
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Commitment to accuracy and data integrity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with facility personnel
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
