To grow and retain a portfolio of Commercial relationships aimed at optimising client value to the bank. To develop strong business relationships with commercial customers through proactive and value-adding contact, understanding their current business needs, as well as their long-term strategy. Provides a full array of customised financial solutions and effective relationship management tailored to meet the clients short- and long-term needs.

Holder of a First Degree in Business Commerce (Business Administration, Finance and Accounting).

5-7 year’s Banking experience- (Relationship Banking -Client Coverage)

Relationship management experience as a Relationship Manager (Agric Sector).

Experience in dealing with customers at all levels. Significant product knowledge including specialized products and financial structures.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and client financial analysis.

Experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Tier 1 agri-Business clients, serving as their primary banking partner.

Offer expert financial guidance and structure banking solutions tailored to agricultural business cycles, commodity markets, and value‑chain dynamics.

Grow the agri-Business portfolio by increasing quality assets, deposits, and transactional activity, while driving interest income (lending, structured facilities) and non‑interest revenue (fees and commissions)- (Balance Sheet & Revenue).

Proactively identify, structure, and originate high‑quality credit opportunities aligned to client needs, sector dynamics, and the bank’s asset growth strategy. Ensure appropriate deal sizing, pricing, and structuring to drive sustainable asset expansion.

Develop comprehensive, analytically sound, and policy‑compliant credit applications, annual reviews, and monitoring reports that meet internal quality standards and enable effective and timely credit decision‑making.

Conduct thorough assessments of credit, market, operational, and sector‑specific risks. Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

Manage facility structuring, onboarding, monitoring, and renewals. Ensure timely follow‑ups, account performance reviews, and resolution of client issues.

Stay abreast of commodity price movements, climate patterns, regulatory changes, and value‑chain developments to inform proactive decision‑making and client strategy.

Work closely with Credit, Business Finance, Legal, Operations, and other key stakeholders to deliver seamless end‑to‑end client solutions and ensure efficient execution of transactions.
