Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools for high-quality video editing and content creation
  • Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Skilled in creating professional social media graphics using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or related tools
  • Manage and grow Plant Catalyst Africa’s social media presence across digital platforms
  • Develop and manage content calendars and posting schedules
  • Create compelling captions, reels, stories, and promotional content aligned with the brand
  • Monitor social media engagement, analytics, and platform performance metrics
  • Stay updated with social media trends, viral content styles, and platform updates
  • Skilled in basic photography and content capture for marketing purposes
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Proactive and innovative, constantly seeking creative solutions and improvements
  • Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent storytelling and content creation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptable to new technologies and fast-paced work environments
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in video editing and social media management
  • Portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
  • Experience managing brand or business social media accounts is an added advantage.
