JOB DETAILS:

Unitrans Malawi Limited, a prominent employer in the sugar and agriculture sector wants to recruit a suitably qualified person of Malawian origin to fill the above posts which have fallen vacant at its Dwangwa Depot in Nkhota-kota.

Responsibilities or duties

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the artisan to maintain and modify, install and repair plant and machinery where necessary. May inspect plant or production area and report faults to Artisans to assist in scheduling maintenance or repairs as required to minimize loses.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Must have a minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Grade 2 National Trade Test Certificate (or its equivalent) from a recognized learning institution.
• Must be willing to work at odd hours or in shifts as workload may require.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
