Responsibilities or duties

Reporting to the Mobile Money Systems Manager, the Mobile Money Integrations Specialist shall be responsible for executing integrations of the Mobile Money applications with other systems in line with TNM business requirements, policies, and procedures. The role focuses on solution design, software development, system integration, testing and operational stability of integrated services.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience needed

Proven experience in software development, DevOps engineering, or system integration.

Experience working with APls, third-party integrations, and enterprise systems will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of innovation and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript programming.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Scope new third-party integration solutions in line with approved solution architecture.
  • Develop end-to-end integration solutions in response to business requirements and submit them for approval.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to third-party system integrations.
  • Patch bugs and address vulnerabilities reported on integrated systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing of mobile money integrations to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for new mobile money integrations in liaison with users and senior specialists.
  • Conduct disaster recovery testing for all third-party integrated services.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for software solutions supporting third-party integrations and system administration.
  • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure integration solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop software solutions in response to requirements submitted by business development teams.
