MONITORING, EVALUATION, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND LEARNING MANAGER
Main Responsibilities
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning Manager will:
- Provide technical guidance on M&E planning, approaches, tools, and methodologies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports in line with donor requirements.
- Support project design by contributing to theories of change, results frameworks, logframes, indicators, and targets.
- Develop overall and project-specific M&E plans and track implementation against workplans, timelines, and performance indicators.
- Design and manage results-based monitoring systems to ensure quality outputs and achievement of targets.
- Lead learning processes, including feedback sessions, lessons-learned briefs, and recommendations for programme improvement.
- Support donor proposal development by working with programme, technical, and finance teams on concepts, budgets, and compliance.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant M&E experience with a master’s degree, or 7 years with a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in SPSS, Stata, Kobo Toolbox, ODK-based tools, Excel, database packages, or other relevant software.
- Experience in field monitoring, quantitative and qualitative analysis, MEAL system design, data management, and performance tracking.
- Excellent facilitation, organisational, communication, integrity, accountability, and evidence-based programming skills.
