Umodzi Empowerment Organization is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates for the following internship positions based in Chatoloma, Kasungu.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Intern

Job Purpose

Support the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of organizational projects by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to measure program performance, outcomes, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, verifying, and compiling project data from the field.
• Support the development and maintenance of monitoring and evaluation tools.
• Participate in baseline, midline, endline, and routine monitoring activities.
• Assist in data entry, cleaning, validation, and analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and project performance reports.
• Monitor project indicators and track progress against targets.
• Support field visits, surveys, assessments, and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate project databases and documentation.
• Assist in developing data visualization materials and presentations.
• Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in project review meetings and learning sessions.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data management tools is an added advantage.
