INTERNSHIP VACANCY
Umodzi Empowerment Organization is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates for the following internship positions based in Chatoloma, Kasungu.
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Intern
Job Purpose
Support the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of organizational projects by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to measure program performance, outcomes, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, verifying, and compiling project data from the field.
- Support the development and maintenance of monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Participate in baseline, midline, endline, and routine monitoring activities.
- Assist in data entry, cleaning, validation, and analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and project performance reports.
- Monitor project indicators and track progress against targets.
- Support field visits, surveys, assessments, and evaluations.
- Maintain accurate project databases and documentation.
- Assist in developing data visualization materials and presentations.
- Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Participate in project review meetings and learning sessions.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data management tools is an added advantage.
