JOB DETAILS:

KUHeS Sports Complex

Pastry Chef

Reports To: Head Chef / Executive Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, desserts, and confections.
• Decorate cakes and pastries using icings, glazes, and fillings.
• Manage pastry section inventory, ordering, and rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station.
• Develop new dessert recipes in line with seasonal themes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a bakery, hotel, or restaurant pastry section.
• Knowledge of chocolate tempering, sugar work, and dough fermentation.

Key Competencies: Precision, creativity, time management, artistic eye.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
