JOB DETAILS:
Daeyang Luke Hospital (DLH), is a fast-growing Mission hospital under the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM). Daeyang Luke Hospital believes that every human being is created in the image of God who treasures and cares for every life of His creation. Daeyang Luke Hospital aims to glorify God by loving and serving anyone who is in need. In pursuit to achieve the goals and objectives of the hospital, DLH is seeking to engage the services of:
Responsibilities or duties
- Dispensing drugs to patients and educating them correct usage of drugs.
- Analysis of prescription patterns and provide appropriate advice to Hospital Management team.
- Pharmacy stock management.
- Receiving prescriptions for dispensing.
- Managing pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies.
- Inventory management.
Qualifications or requirements
- Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a busy health facility.
- Registered with the Pharmacy, Medicines and poisons Board
- Contract is renewable depending on satisfactory performance.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY/SKILLS
- Well conversant with the health system in Malawi.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Problem identification and solving skills.
- Willingness to abide by the vision and core values of the hospital.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: associate degree
