Primary School Teachers (4 Positions)

Position Overview

The Board is seeking suitably qualified, committed, and dependable Primary School Teachers who will be responsible for providing quality instruction, promoting effective learning, and supporting the holistic development of learners.

Requirements

• Must possess a T2 Certificate (IPTE Cohort 18 or 19) from a well-recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be honest, disciplined, hardworking, and committed to professional ethics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the primary school curriculum.
• Preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and other instructional materials.
• Monitoring learners' academic progress and providing continuous assessment.
• Maintaining learner discipline and creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.
• Keeping accurate records of learner attendance, performance, and progress.
• Participating in school programmes, meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintaining positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the School Administration.

Terms and Conditions

• Employment Status: Immediate Engagement
• Basic Monthly Salary: K250,000.00

Level of Education: bachelor degree
