Oakwood Farms is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in our farm-to-table process, ensuring that our high standards for quality and freshness are met at every stage of production.

From the initial sorting of raw materials to the final packaging, you will be a key contributor to the excellence of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Raw Material Handling: Sort and clean incoming raw materials to ensure only the best produce enters the production line.
• Fruit Preparation: Efficiently prepare fruits for processing (peeling, slicing, or deseeded as required).
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to identify and remove any items that do not meet our premium quality standards.
• Packaging: Execute the final packaging process, ensuring products are sealed, labelled, and presented correctly.
• Storage & Inventory: Assist in organized storage and maintain accurate records of inventory to ensure smooth stock rotation.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• MSCE. Previous experience in food production is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and light lifting.
• A reliable team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
