JOB DETAILS:

LUANAR invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer, or Staff Associate in Language and Communication.

Responsibilities or duties

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentorship, and scholarly engagement in Language and Communication.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Applicants should possess:

• A Master's degree in Linguistics or Applied Linguistics from a recognized university for appointment at the Assistant Lecturer level.
• A PhD in Linguistics or Applied Linguistics from a recognized university for appointment at the Lecturer level and above.
• A background in Education is required.

Experience needed

Bachelor's degree with at least a Credit for Staff Associate applicants.

Minimum three (3) years' relevant experience.

Publications and evidence of attracting research funding for senior academic appointments.

Appointment will be on an initial two-year contract with the possibility of permanent appointment.
