JOB DETAILS:

Background

Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian NGO working to end extreme poverty and build resilient communities. We are looking for a committed and experienced professional to support community climate resilience and disaster risk reduction initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Disaster Risk Reduction, Community Development, Development Studies or related field

Experience needed:

• At least 3 years’ experience in climate change, resilience/adaptation projects and community mobilization
• Experience working with community-based structures and committees

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of disaster risk reduction and climate-resilient agriculture
• Good communication, coordination and reporting skills
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
