OVERVIEW

LUANAR, through its Programmes Coordination Office, is coordinating the Malawi component of the Africa Europe Youth Academy (AEYA). The programme supports young people aged 18–30 to implement sustainable development actions and build bridges between Africa and Europe.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Gender/Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience in project support, youth programmes, training, events, or community engagement.
  • Strong report writing, documentation, minute taking, and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, data tools, virtual platforms, social media).
  • Experience with universities, youth organisations, civil society, or development partners (advantage).
  • Knowledge of funded projects, youth development, entrepreneurship, or innovation (advantage).

DUTIES:

  • Coordinate AEYA Malawi activities under LUANAR’s Programmes Coordination Office.
  • Assist in planning, organising, and documenting trainings, events, mentoring sessions, and competitions.
  • Support publicity, application processes, and communication with participants and stakeholders.
  • Maintain participant records, monitoring data, and project documentation.
  • Support reporting, monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of success stories.
  • Liaise with local actors, youth organisations, and partners.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
