Key Responsibilities & Performance Metrics

  • Diplomatic Liaison: Serve as the primary operational link with UN security representatives, ensuring all deployments exceed UNDSS standards and diplomatic protocols.
  • Contractual Precision: Guarantee zero unmanned posts, 100% accuracy in posting sheets, and full alignment with both client SOPs and national labor laws.
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct quarterly site assessments and vet 100% of new client sites prior to commencement; maintain a 0% failure rate in internal compliance audits.
  • Client Relationship Management: Acknowledge 100% of queries within 2 hours and maintain a client satisfaction score of >90%.
  • Rapid Incident Response: Ensure 100% of incidents are reported within 1 hour, with comprehensive root cause investigations submitted within 24 hours for major events.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver weekly and monthly operational reports with 100% data integrity and punctuality.
  • High Performance Leadership: Manage the team to keep staff turnover below 2% and ensure 100% of personnel receive monthly professional coaching.
  • Health & Safety Excellence: Maintain a Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) record and ensure 100% completion of mandatory H&S audits.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Security Management, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Working knowledge of UNDSS frameworks and diplomatic security protocols is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional command of English, specifically tailored for high level diplomatic correspondence and executive reporting.
  • Vetting: Impeccable integrity with the ability to pass stringent international background checks and clearance processes.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Malawian labor laws, national safety legislation, and digital literacy (Google Workspace/MS Office).
  • Attributes: High cultural awareness, tact, and the ability to proactively anticipate the needs of a high profile client.

Experience needed

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior supervisory role within the private security sector. Specific experience managing security for diplomatic missions, UN agencies, or international NGOs is essential.
