Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about project management and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced technology environment. The trainee will support project managers and senior officers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, and documentation.
- Support project managers in preparing project plans, schedules, and reports.
- Monitor project progress and update stakeholders on milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including meeting minutes and status reports.
- Participate in project review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project management standards.
- Learn and apply project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMBOK).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the project management discipline.
