Core Responsibilities

Security Governance: Drive full compliance with Group Mandatory Security Procedures, working in close alignment with the General Manager – Cash Solutions.

Inspections & Corrective Action: Conduct and document rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections. Ensure timely escalation of defects and oversee the implementation of corrective measures.

Operational Discipline: Enforce strict adherence to CIT Operating Limits, vehicle management protocols, and fuel efficiency targets among crews and supervisors.

Investigative Oversight: Lead internal investigations into cash losses, procedural breaches, and Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), producing high level reports for executive management.

Resource Optimisation: Audit regional operations to identify and implement fuel and fleet efficiency improvements.

Strategic Liaison: Maintain robust professional relationships with Manned Security departments and the Malawi Police Service.

Training & Mentorship: Elevate branch security standards through proactive training, counseling, and operational support.

Health & Safety Leadership: Act as the Regional H&S Representative, coordinating all regional safety initiatives and compliance.

Requirements & Competencies

Education: Diploma in Business Management, Customer Services, or a related Security/Risk Management field.

Licensing: Must possess a valid Motorbike and or Vehicle Driver’s License (Essential for field mobility).

Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and digital reporting.

Leadership Traits:

  • Proven ability to sustain complex internal and external professional relationships.
  • A firm but fair approach to staff management and disciplinary matters.
  • A vision for security innovation and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional persuasive and communication skills.
