OVERVIEW
Sycamore Credit Limited is a Malawian-owned Micro Finance Company that provides loan products. Sycamore Credit Limited was incorporated in April 2018 with the Registrar of Companies and was licensed to operate as a microfinance company in August 2018 by the Reserve Bank of Malawi. The company is looking for a Relationship Officer. The position will be based in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Relationship Officer Supervisor. The role of a Relationship Officer is to foster business growth with excellent customer experience delivery and good command of the industry market share. Commitment to the vision, mission, values, and motivation of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Acquisition
- Loan book growth
- Customer retention
- Collections – Loan repayment collections
- Disbursements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in any of the following: Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking, or any other business-related field.
- 2 years’ experience in managing employee loans and SME loans or group loans is required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong understanding of credit operations, particularly lending methodologies and processes, credit, and risk management.
- Good and valuable customer relationship management skills
- Knowledge of the economy/markets where Sycamore Credit Ltd is operating
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong desire to work with the economically active and willing to help create wealth for Sycamore Credit Ltd customers
- Strong competency in using computers, especially Microsoft Office
