Background
Sycamore Credit Limited is a Malawian-owned Micro Finance Company that provides loan products. Sycamore Credit Limited was incorporated in April 2018 with the Registrar of Companies and was licensed to operate as a microfinance company in August 2018 by the Reserve Bank of Malawi. The company is rolling out Agribusiness loan products and is looking for qualified and motivated individuals to fill the positions a Risk Officers (Agribusiness).
Purpose
To identify and mitigate risks related Agribusiness loan products, crop failure, market volatility, and climate change.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Economics or Finance combined with 2-5 years’ experience in risk assessment and mitigation. Working experience in agribusiness loans under risk, collections, recoveries and rehabilitation is preferred.
- Experience in managing Agribusiness loan lending process and portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Perform technical surveys of crop/livestock risks and ensure compliance with lending policies.
Skills
Proficiency in credit analysis, knowledge of local agribusiness markets, and a valid motorcycle license for field travel.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
