Background
SME Clinic on behalf of its client, a fully integrated multidisciplinary security and facilities management company, is recruiting Systems Technician.
The candidate should be a skilled and experienced CCTV, Systems & Alarm Technician able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of CCTV systems, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and related technologies.
Main Responsibilities
Duties and essential functions but not limited to.
- Install and service alarm systems (intrusion, panic buttons, electric fencing)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of security systems
- Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
- Configure remote viewing systems (mobile and desktop platforms)
- Maintain system documentation, reports, and service logs
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
- Ensure all installations meet company and client standards
- Support integration of security systems with monitoring/control rooms
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, ICT, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in CCTV and alarm system installation
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, DVRs/NVRs, and remote access systems
- Experience with electric fencing and access control systems is an added advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Valid driver’s licence
- Good communication and reporting skills
