Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary company of AHL Group Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Manager, tenable at its Head Office in Lilongwe.
Position function
The successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to promote company’s brand and products, increasing sales and brand awareness aligned to the company’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Degree in Business Administration or Marketing Management;
- High integrity and ethical conduct;
- Strategic thinking and planning;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to tackle complex situations;
- Relationship management skills and ability to lead and work with teams.
Experience needed
- At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position;
- Demonstrable experience in working in a busy marketing environment.

- Development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals;
- Creating and overseeing sales and marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and content marketing;
- Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities;
- Managing sales and marketing budgets, track expenses, and ensure return on investment (ROI);
- Leading and managing the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support and training;
- Monitoring sales and marketing campaign performance, analyze data, and generate reports on key metrics;
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, including finance, production, procurement and inventory, and public relations;
- Maintaining and enhancing brand image and reputation;
- Developing and implementing strategies to engage with customers and build relationships;
- Performing any other related duties assigned by the General Manager.
