Role and Responsibilities
Reporting To: General Manager
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and strengthen the organisation’s market position.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with organisational objectives
- Promote existing company brands and introduce new products to the market
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales and marketing team
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, monitoring performance and forecasting to stay aligned with market trends
- Analyse budgets, prepare annual sales and marketing plans, schedule expenditures, and ensure teams meet targets and quotas
- Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans by understanding customer needs and market dynamics
- Collect, analyse, and summarise market data and trends to prepare management reports
- Implement new sales plans, promotions, and advertising strategies
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage sales and marketing staff to achieve human resource and performance objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular engagement and proactive service
- Develop revenue-generation strategies and impactful marketing campaigns
- Advise management by providing recommendations and feedback on corporate strategy
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BS/MS) in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager or Sales and Marketing Director
- Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organisational levels
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
- Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
