Responsibilities or duties
- Provide primary healthcare, aid, and medical treatment to sick students within the school’s jurisdiction.
- Maintain, inventory, and manage the school’s clinical First Aid Kit and healthcare supplies.
- Escort sick students to the hospital for advanced medical attention when preliminary treatment proves insufficient.
- Monitor the medical status of students admitted to the hospital, ensuring they are served appropriate dietary meals.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the hostels, surrounding environments, restrooms, and physical structures.
- Report any necessary structural, infrastructure, or kitchen maintenance requirements directly to the Bursar.
- Uphold excellent standards of behavioral discipline in the residential hostels, resolve student disputes, and provide proactive pastoral counseling.
- Report sick student updates regularly to the Principal for administrative tracking and further attention.
Qualifications or requirements
Must possess a formal Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, or a closely relevant qualification from a recognized medical training institution.
Experience needed
Demonstrated experience in nursing, student care, or managing residential adolescent facilities will be a distinct advantage.
