We are hiring general staff and encourage applications from qualified individuals.
SCHOOL NURSE
Job Purpose
The School Nurse will provide basic healthcare services, first aid, health education, health monitoring, and referral support to students and staff while promoting a healthy and safe school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic nursing care.
- Assess students who become ill or injured at school.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Administer medication where appropriately authorized.
- Monitor students with ongoing health needs.
- Coordinate referrals to healthcare facilities when necessary.
- Provide health education on hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health, disease prevention, and wellbeing.
- Support school health screening and wellness programmes.
- Maintain the sick bay and health supplies.
- Promote infection prevention and health and safety practices.
- Communicate appropriately with parents/guardians regarding student health.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration and practising licence as required.
- Experience working with children or in a school environment is an advantage.
- Good communication, confidentiality, and emergency-response skills.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
