JOB DETAILS:

Balaka Beef (Demeter Farm Ltd) – Lilongwe

Balaka Beef is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Manager to lead operations across its three retail outlets in Lilongwe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee retail operations, inventory, logistics, and customer deliveries.
• Lead and develop outlet teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale customers.
• Ensure quality, hygiene, and operational standards are met.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
• 4-5 years’ experience in meat processing, abattoir, or meat production operations.
• Experience managing multiple retail outlets.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Level of Education: associate degree
