Mission and objectives

The National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) is a statutory body established to coordinate, promote, support, and advocate for youth development initiatives across Malawi. As the leading institution for youth affairs, NYCOM works to empower young people by creating opportunities for participation, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, skills development, and socio-economic advancement.

Through strategic partnerships with government, development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector, NYCOM champions policies and programs that enhance the welfare and potential of Malawi’s youth. The Council serves as a platform that amplifies the voices of young people, ensuring their active involvement in national development processes and decision-making.

Our mission is to empower and inspire young people to become productive, responsible, and transformative citizens who contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of Malawi.

Context

The National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) is organizing the 2026 National Youth Summit, a high-impact platform for investment, partnership-building, and scalable solutions that contribute to youth employment and innovation in line with Malawi 2063. To ensure a professional and cohesive brand identity, we require high-quality visual materials for our online and offline publicity campaigns. The final designs will be used across all NYCOM online channels, in partner communications, and during the summit itself to enhance visibility and impact.
