Role Context

We are looking for a Special Education Assistant Teacher to support our students with special educational needs. This role is crucial in ensuring that every child receives the individualized attention and support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities.
• Help students develop social and life skills.
• Monitor student progress and report to the lead teacher.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Education, or a related field.
• A genuine interest in and passion for Special Needs Education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting every child's learning journey.
