Background
Emerging Cooking Solutions (SupaMoto) is a leader in the renewable energy sector in Malawi, dedicated to transitioning households from traditional charcoal to clean, efficient pellet-based cooking solutions.
We are currently seeking established entities to join our network as Authorized Distributors (Area Circles). These partners will serve as regional/area hubs, ensuring the consistent availability of SupaMoto products and fostering community-led energy transitions.
Key Functions of a SupaMoto Distributor
- Regional/Area Hub Management: Acting as the primary logistics point for stoves and pellet fuel within the designated territory.
- Agent Force Leadership: Recruiting and managing local sales agents (Supa Partners) to drive penetration in community clusters.
- Last-Mile Logistics: Ensuring timely distribution of pellet fuel to end-users to maintain high customer retention.
- Digital Operations: Managing all sales, stock, and customer interactions through the SupaMoto Platform. This includes mandatory use of our Smartphone App and USSD access to log every Action Card and transaction.
- Customer Relationship Management: Providing local after-sales support and guiding users through the utility system.
- Market Intelligence: Gathering and reporting localized market feedback to inform area marketing strategies.
Requirements for Submission
Interested companies are required to submit a comprehensive Company Profile highlighting:
- Business registration documents.
- Current physical operational presence and storage capacity.
- Previous experience in retail, logistics, or managing field-based sales teams.
- Brief overview of key management staff.
