Description of Responsibilities
Responsible for the operation, routing and safety aspects and for the implementation and management of the Traffic Accommodation obligations.
The Traffic Management Officer will liaise directly with the Engineer in respect of all traffic accommodation issues and will prepare and submit for the approval of the Engineer and Contractor’s traffic management proposals.
Will be responsible for the reporting of all traffic related incidents and accidents and the investigation of and reporting on the causes of these. Will submit all accident and incident reports to the Engineer and will liaise with local Traffic Police on all matters affecting the public use of the road under construction and the diversions provided along the works.
Mandatory Requirements
- CAP III/V or CAP V/VI in Health and Safety
- Work experience in road projects with more than 10 years (mandatory)
- Work experience in road projects with more 5 years as traffic management officer (mandatory)
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Knowledge in MS Office
- Driver license
